New Business Class – World’s Best Business Class by Skytrax
The Cathay Pacific New Business Class is designed to provide both privacy and openness – which you can control as you like. The new Business Class seat features up to 28 cm (11 inches) of travel. Move the seat back for privacy or forward to converse with your travelling companion. A precision toggle allows you to adjust the seat position to fit your mood and posture.
The new, fully flat bed is just over 2 metres (82 inches) long. A bed extension increases its width by 16.5 cm (6.5 inches) to provide additional hip support, while the side storage compartment offers extra knee space for sleeping on your side. For sleeping, you may choose to leave your armrest up.
A touch of a button opens the 15.4 inch TV with Audio and Video on Demand. Our award-winning StudioCX features a rotating library of 100 movies, 500 TV shows, 888 music CDs, 22 radio channels, and 70 games – and with 10 languages represented, you’re sure to find something you enjoy. A noise-cancelling headset assures a more enjoyable listening experience. Your entertainment control panel now includes a Multi-port Connector that lets you connect your own electronic devices, including the iPod and iPhone, and stream audio and video content to your personal TV display – which you control through your own device. There is also a USB port for charging mobile devices.
Cathay Pacific’s new Business Class is being progressively introduced on our Boeing 777-300ER and Airbus A330-300 aircraft. Aircraft deployment varies and availability is subject to operational requirements.
Premium Economy Class New!
The Cathay Pacific Premium Economy Class is a total enhancement of Economy Class experience-- and is designed to give you more comfort, space and personal attention throughout your entire journey.
Before You Fly
Before you board, you’ll appreciate dedicated check-in counters and priority boarding at the gate. You’ll also be able to pack more – or bring more home – with an increased baggage allowance: from 20kg to 25kg (weight system) or two pieces of baggage from 23 kg to 25kg each (piece system).
Relax in a Wider Seat
The Premium Economy Class cabin is a cosy haven of 26 to 34 seats, allowing the flight attendants to offer you more personal attention than ever. There’s more room between your seat and the seat in front of you, eight inches of recline to make resting and sleeping more comfortable, and the headrest has 4-way movement for excellent support of your head and neck. Front-row seats have a legrest, and other seats have a three-position footrest which help you find a variety of positions to make your flights as enjoyable as possible.
Dine in a Cosy Environment
You will be greeted with a welcome drink of champagne and juice and a hot towel, and you will enjoy enhanced entrée and complimentary bottled water, plus a variety of snacks throughout the flight. A larger meal table makes working and dining more of a pleasure, and a cocktail table provides more room during the meal service. There is extra storage space for all those personal items you’d like to keep close at hand, and an environmentally friendly amenity kit comes with toothbrush and toothpaste, socks and an eyeshade – which is a perfect complement to your larger pillow when it’s time to sleep.
A World of Entertainment
For entertainment, you can count on hundreds of selections on your StudioCX inflight entertainment system. Plus, you can use the multi-port connector to stream audio and video from your personal devices to your new 10.6-inch widescreen Personal TV with a noise-cancelling headset to enhance your enjoyment.
Cathay Pacific’s Premium Economy Class will be progressively introduced on our Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 747-400, selected Airbus A330-300 and Airbus A340-300 aircraft. Aircraft deployment varies and availability is subject to operational requirements.
The new Economy Class seat features a "fixed back" design, similar to a mini-Business Class seat, which allows the passenger to recline without intruding on those seated behind. This is the first Economy Class seat in the airline industry to provide a fixed living space and passenger recline in this manner.
In addition, the seat frame and structure has been designed to maximize knee and shin clearance and remove awkward fixtures and fittings that undermine comfort. Other features include a bigger personal television and the introduction of audio and video entertainment on demand.
Cathay Pacific's StudioCX, has an enchanting array of options from Hollywood blockbuster movies to popular Asian and Western TV programmes. Choose from a wide range of newspapers and magazines including our award-winning inflight magazine — Discovery. On long-haul flights, Cathay Pacific's new AVOD (Audio/Video On Demand) system offers more than 100 movies, 500 TV programmes, 888 CDs and 22 radio channels to all passengers on the aircraft.
Personal TVs are available for everyone travelling on all other aircrafts with up to 26 video and 22 radio channels, leaving you spoilt for choice.
