"Not so great..."

Had a short stay in this hotel. I would say it is just an average hotel for a 4-5 star price tag. Upon checked-in, I had to wait for at least 20 minutes before I got attended. The hotel lobby is way to dark. It seems you would need a torch to see things and recognize the staff. We booked 2 rooms and stated in booking that we needed 2 rooms next to each other. One room for us and the other for our teenage children. We didn't get what we wanted. Our rooms are just okay, basic configuration and clean. There are pictures of deceased celebrities on wall as decor. Breakfast is average, not outstanding. Staff are friendly and helpful. Swimming pools close at 8pm. The hotel is connected to the shopping mall and other hotels in Resort World. Food is pricey at the resort. Overall, we would give this hotel a 3.5 stars in every aspect.

Only spent 3 nights at the Hard Rock and did so just too splurge a little before going into hostels for awhile. Beautiful room and lovely hotel. The bed was amazing and the rain shower was definitely a bonus. Location was great as it was right in the heart of Sentosa. Wouldn't quite say it matches to a 5 star as I have stayed in some 3 that are similar and it is a bit pricey but overall a pleasant stay.

I was in the Hard Rock Hotel at May 2013, my first impression in this hotel is this hotel is a little bit to dark even in the afternoon. Here is my experience staying here; HOSPITALITY 10/10 I'm really impressed with the hospitality shown by all the staff in Hard Rock Hotel. Starting when I'm arrive in The Hard Rock Hotel, The bell boy immediately helping us bring our luggage down from the taxi and offer us to bring the luggage into our room later on. The front desk is also fast and serve us with a smile. We arrive at 11 Am, but the room is ready at 3PM but its not a problem because we planned to go to the aquarium before went to our room. The bellboys really helping us to get the direction right. the checkout was also fast and again with a smile. Overall I'm satisfied with the hospitality shown by the staff here. ROOM 9/10 The room is big enough, clean, and have a balcony. The bed is really comfortable. Our room is in the 6 floor, and we chose the pool view. Its a great view. The bathroom is really great, I especially like the shower. the toilet and the shower had a separate door so we don't have to wait when we want to go to the toilet while others take the shower. BREAKFAST 5/10 Honestly The breakfast is disappointing, I believe I might not be the only one who said that. Just a normal breakfast with a lack of taste and variety, I wouldn't complain if it's a 3 or 4 star hotel though, but for a 5 star hotel like Hard Rock its really disappointing. THE SWIMMING POOL 10/10 The Hard Rock Swimming Pool is really The Best. Really big area, lots of pool, and its a private. The towel is provided and most importantly its clean even though there are a lot of trees around. They also have the sands pool and a playing pool for children's to play. Its really fun in here. LOCATION 8/10 The Hard Rock Hotel is in the great location in the Sentosa Island. The Aquarium, Water Cove, Universal Studio, Mall, Merlion Statue, The cable car, and The Casino are all in the walking distance from the hotel. I gave 8 because Michael Hotel and Festive Hotel is more closer to the attraction than the Hard Rock Hotel. But its still close to each other so its not really a problem. ATTRACTION 10/10 Well, the hotel is in the Sentosa island so basically we have access to all the Sentosa Island attraction if we staying in the Hard Rock Hotel. The most nearest one are The Aquarium, Water Cove, Universal Studio, The Mall, Malaysian hawker, Merlion Statue, The cable car, and The Casino. Its all in the walking distance from the hotel. Oh yeah remember to ask for promotion or package in the ticket office if you want to have several attraction at once. You'll save a lot of money if you took the package. If you want to take the cable car, go there at 5PM. When you arrive at Mount Faber, went down to the Henderson Wave it only take 10 minutes. And try to return to Sentosa island again by cable car at sunset. You'll get a magnificent scenery that you'll ever forget for the rest of your life. See the Photos below. HOW TO GET HERE We got here by taxi its only cost us S$7.5 from Chinatown. But you can also get here by MRT, just go to the Harbor Front(purple line), go to the VIVO City mall. Go to the upper floor and took the sentosa express. Go down in the Universal studio station, you can take a walk for 10 minutes from here to the Hard Rock Hotel. BOOKING See their promotion first at the Sentosa Island website before you decide to buy. I get a great deal of 3D/2N for S$520 plus free ticket for 2 to the Universal Studio, Water Cove, and the Sea Aquarium. The ticket itself will cost around S$230. So yeah I get to stay at the Hard Rock Hotel for less than S$300 for 3D/2N. Not a bad deal at all. OVERALL Its a great place to stay in the sentosa island, Great hospitality, great room, great location, and great swimming pool. It will be perfect if they improve their breakfast menus in the future. I definitely wants to go back here again.

"Totally below expectations!"

The name Hard Rock itself gives us certain expectations but the hotel is totally not up to standards. We stayed at Hard Rock Macau before and although the room was much smaller, it was a lot better in every aspect. Back to this one in Sentosa - the slippers provided in the room are very slippery on the white tiles in the toilet and close to the door. There are no hooks for the hand towel plus no hair conditioner. If the shampoo is a good brand then perhaps it's not necessary but that's not the case. The white shelves in the toilet also look worn. Also the original nice chair in the room is probably broken hence we've got this ugliest Chinese banquet looking chair in the room. Last but not least, the guest lifts are also in a weird location. Seriously no next time!!

I was a completely disappointing experience to stay at this hotel. When you hear the name Hard Rock you would expect much more. The prices were high for everything, from a beer by the bar to a dinner in the local restaurants. If you are going to Singapore and have a budget for this Hotel, better think twice and stay somewhere else
