"NO GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY"

I was a completely disappointing experience to stay at this hotel. When you hear the name Hard Rock you would expect much more. The prices were high for everything, from a beer by the bar to a dinner in the local restaurants. If you are going to Singapore and have a budget for this Hotel, better think twice and stay somewhere else

"Good for a few days, but not the best option on Sentosa"

Just like so many other reviews, my first issue is the time it takes to check in. Seriously, a good 15 minutes just to be acknowledged (there were 3-4 staff working, 2 were checking people out, and 2 were going in and out of the back office). It then took another 10-15 minutes for the computer check in process. Staff were friendly and polite throughout the process. Preferences and notes from our booking (that they ask for in the online booking process - bedding preference, smoking or non-smoking, breakfast included or not etc. etc.) all had to be answered and entered again. Why? It only added to the lengthy check in process. Reception is very dark, but that's probably the whole rock star vibe they're going for with the purple velvet everywhere. Likewise with the rooms i nice, but very dark and purple. Balconies are small, and there's no seating. Excellent showers. Good wardrobe storage space and 2-way access from both the room side and inside the bathroom. Bathroom very dark - so ladies, good luck "putting your face on" and doing your hair! Rooms were not cleaned until at least 6pm each day of our stay. Was a bit of a pain when we were wanting to have a rest late afternoon (were worried the cleaners wouldn't come at all if we were in the room), or clean towels for showers before dinner. Mini bar was never re-stocked from the first day. Which is strange, because surely they want people to spend money on the over-priced in-room drinks? We used a few on our first night, and they were never replaced. Ice machine on the floor was great. Lobby bar was good, and would've been pricey if not for the happy hour beers for Hubby. The free wasabi and chili chips at the bar are moreish. Certainly got my money's worth there! Bar staff (pool bar and lobby bar) are really nice. Friendly, lovely. We witnessed a number of conference attendees (European and Asian) who were extremely rude to the females working in the lobby bar, for no good reason. One expected them to just know he didn't want ice in his soft drinks (really?), another was outraged they didn't have his brand of cigarettes in stock, and another couldn't believe the price of the coffee (because...you know...the bar staff totally set the prices themselves, apparently....). The staff were courteous and polite to all of them. Pool area is fantastic. Huge, lots of little alcoves. Seriously impressive. Overall, it was nice for a few nights. BUT - it is incredibly expensive. Overpriced, in my opinion. I would consider one of the other Resorts World hotels first next time. While it was nice enough, the room was fine, and we enjoyed it - the food and drink is expensive, and I just don't see the value for the price. Absolute highlight - the regular free monorail shuttles to and from Vivo City.

Ahhhhhh no words to say.... Heaven on Earth with superb casino and all. awsum hospitality and service. big mall and beauty of santosa. no words must sta property at santosa. supreb rooms and all. nice resort in singapore

Had a staycation with family over the weekend. Pleasant stay overall, just that we were really disappointed that a basic request for a king bed couldn't even be met. Had our 5 month old with us so despite having 2 super single beds joined together, it wasn't such a great night. Rooms are starting to show some signs of wear and tear. Bathroom without door is ok for couples but inconvenient with friends/relatives. Great pool though, that we enjoyed very much.

I stayed here in November. Its a beautiful hotel and the location is excellent. The rooms are very spacious and clean. I love the bed and the sound system. The bathroom is clean and they have taken every small details to make you feel like a rock star. I recommend this place for families with kids as the pool is huge and with lot of facilities for kids.Poor service by reception and room service
