About Riverview Hotel Singapore

Each of the 476 guest rooms and suites is equipped with international direct-dial telephone with extension in bathroom and voicemail service, tub/ shower bath combination, hairdryer, minibar, in-room safe, coffee/ tea making facilities, central air conditioning LCD television with over 20 channels of international programmes and broadband access. All rooms are fitted with bay windows and command a panoramic view of the river or city. The poolside features an outdoor pool, gym, Jacuzzi, steam-room and pool-bar.

A wide range of local and western cuisine is served at the River Garden which also features a daily buffet. This 24-hour coffee house has an indoor dining area and an alfresco terrace which overlook the Singapore River. "Good value, good staff - would stay again"

My elderly mother and I stayed in this hotel last week for a total of 6 nights, and were happily surprised by the standard of room, staff, cleanliness and location of the hotel. The deluxe twin room (non-smoking) allocated to us was exactly what I had requested in my booking. The room was clean, fresh smelling, neat and ample for our needs, with a lovely river view. The staff were friendly and happy to answer any questions we had, and the bell staff were quick to offer assistance to my mother who was using a wheelchair with accessing taxis and our tour pick-up buses. Having a 7-11 only a couple of minutes walk across the river, and another convenience store just down the road was great for the odd thig you needed. If I had to fault anything, it would be that there were no towels at the pool one morning, and that one afternoon when we arrived back after 4pm our room had not been serviced, however both these things were quickly rectified after a call to the friendly staff in housekeeping.Thank you for helping make my and my elderly mother's holiday in Singapore a most enjoyable one.

Excellent location within walking distance of lots of good resteraunts. Good views of the Singapore river - ask for a river view room if available. Rooms clean and tidy. Long "happy hour" in the Jade Lounge, it was 2-9 when I was there.

Stayed a couple of nights at this hotel with small child. Made a late booking and asked for a double bed but when checking in they were gone. Were upgraded to executive smoking floor with queen bed. The room was quite small and it had seen better days... Mold in the bathroom wasn't what I've expected from an exec room. I read that they are renovating the rooms at the moment so when the renovation is completed I think this hotel would score better. The location is great, right by Robertson Quey, close to Clark Quey.

During a recent business trip, I spent nine days at this hotel. It is well located. One can stroll or jog along the river in a safe, clean walk, along several cafés or restaurants, following the river. The Hotel itself has a good restaurant; its terrace offers a riverview. A tip: Ask for the special rooms that allow the use of the business center and its free drinks and snacks; they offered also free laundry of two clothes per day. I found the breakfast buffet interesting. It was a mixture of western and oriental food, truly international. The staff was friendly and helpful. Put altogether, my stay at this hotel was worth its price.

This was very pleasent hotel on the canal Side and very near hundreds if very nice resturants, Bars etc,. The Hotel Staff are pleasent. Price reasonable Only fall down is the lack of friendliness or assisatnce in the main Dinning room. When the say self service they really mean it
