a new mood lighting system (first of its kind in the skies) These schemes have been selected to coincide with cabin activities and time of day to ensure a memorable and more relaxed flight for customers The new International Business Class cabin, including Skybed, is introduced on all three-class Boeing 747-400s, operating on routes between Australia and the United Kingdom via Bangkok and Singapore, the USA and Hong Kong. Skybed and the cabin enhancements are introduced on two-class Boeing 747-400s, flying between Australia and Frankfurt, Paris, South Africa and Singapore, and on the airline’s Brisbane- Auckland- Los Angeles route.

International Online Check-in
International Online Check-in is a significant enhancement to the Qantas customer experience, enabling customers whose first sector of their itinerary is with Qantas, to check-in at their leisure between 24 hours and 2 hours prior to their flight departure, and before they arrive at the airport.
Through international online Check-in customers can check-in from home, their office or anywhere they can access the internet and a printer. In addition to these benefits a dedicated check-in counter will be in operation at the airport providing a more seamless airport experience.
